Flu vaccines currently available for the 2025-2026 flu vaccine season:
We use only preservative-free flu vaccines, and prefer non-adjuvanted vaccines unless there is a specific advantage to use them.
1. Fluarix (egg based) or Flucelvax (non-egg based) standard dose vaccines
2. Fluzone high dose or Flu-Ad for those 65 years of age and older.
3. Flumist nasal spray (live attenuated)

Routine vaccines are available on a walk-in basis, Monday through Saturday.
Pneumococcal, Tdap, Shingles, Hepatitis-B, RSV, Typhoid, and ACWY Meningococcal vaccines are all currently available on a walk-in basis.
We can also provide vaccines on Saturdays and other times or at off-site clinics by appointment. To make an appointment or request an off-site clinic please use our contact form.
Whenever possible, we use non-mRNA based, preservative free, and non-adjuvanted vaccines. If this is important to you, please speak to the pharmacist about vaccine options.

Note on the new RSV Vaccines:
The new RSV vaccine, we have chosen to stock the Pfizer RSV vaccine [Abrysvo(R)]. Due to the complex benefit vs. risk considerations surrounding this vaccine for individuals less than 75 years of age, we prefer to receive prescription from your primary care doctor, OB/GYN, or other licensed prescriber that can help you make an informed decisions regarding your specific benefit vs. risk related to receiving this vaccine. If you have multiple risk factors for severe RSV disease, including being over the age of 75 years, and the benefit-risk calculation is more clear, we can prescribe and administer the vaccine.
Travel consults and vaccines:
We now provide a full range of travel consultation services, including travel vaccines and other travel medicine and advice. Please call or use the vaccine/appointment request form to schedule a 15-30-minute appointment for a cost of $49 per person per visit. Longer appointments and group rates are also available by request. Any requested vaccines and medications will be at an additional cost/copay.

There will be an additional form that must be submitted at least 2 working days prior to your appointment so that we can adequately prepare.
Schedule your travel consultation appointment at least 28 days before traveling to allow time for potential vaccines, medicines to take full effect. Please also that, as a "live"-attenuated vaccine, that the yellow fever vaccine cannot be administered within 28 days of another live vaccine. Depending on what is needed, if traveling to an area with endemic malaria or yellow fever, the appointment must be scheduled at a minimum of 10 days before arriving in the malaria or yellow fever area.
Yellow fever vaccine is now available at Howard's Drug. The Yellow Fever vaccine is only available as a part of a paid travel consultation visit.
Price for one dose of YV-VAX = $280
This cost includes us providing you with a stamped, "International Certificate of Immunization" after vaccination.
Yellow fever is prevalent in sub-Saharan Africa and tropical South America. If you are planning to travel to these areas, it is usually recommended that you get vaccinated against yellow fever before your trip -- specific recommendations will be made based on your specific itinerary and current CDC recommendations. You should also take personal protective measures against insect bites while traveling; we will advise you during your appointment on mosquito-bite avoidance measures.
