Routine vaccines are available on a walk-in basis, Monday through Friday.
We can also provide vaccines on Saturdays and other times or at off-site clinics by appointment. To make an appointment or request an off-site clinic please use our contact form.
We do NOT offer any of the current COVID-19 vaccines or therapeutics.
Routine Vaccines Available:
Influenza/"flu shot"
Pneumococcal, also called the “pneumonia” vaccine
- Both Prevnar-20 (PCV-20) and Pneumovax-23 (PPSV-23) are available.
Tdap, the “tetanus, diphtheria, and pertussis (whooping cough)” vaccine
- Recommended for 11-12-year old (entering 6th grade), during each pregnancy, and for tetanus protection every 5-10 years throughout adulthood.
Shingles vaccine (Shingrix®); the much more effective, new shingles vaccine.
Hepatitis-B and/or Hepatitis-A (TwinRix combination product)
Meningococcal ACWY (Menveo)
The new RSV vaccine, specifically the Pfizer RSV vaccine [Abrysvo(R)] is available, but due to the complex benefit vs. risk considerations surrounding this vaccine, we need to receive a prescription from your primary care doctor, OB/GYN, or other licensed prescriber that can help you make an informed decisions regarding your specific benefit vs. risk of receiving this vaccine.
Travel consults and vaccines:
We now provide a full range of travel consultation services, including travel vaccines and other travel medicine and advice. Please call to schedule a 15-30-minute appointment for a cost of $49 per person per visit. Longer appointments and group rates are also available by request. Any requested vaccines and medications will be at an additional cost/copay.
Please stop by the pharmacy or contact us to acquire our most recent travel consultation form. It is necessary to fill this out and turn it in several days before the appointment so that we can properly prepare for the appointment.
It is best to schedule your travel consultation appointment at least 28 days before traveling to allow time for potential vaccines, medicines to take full effect. Please also that, as a "live"-attenuated vaccine, that the yellow fever vaccine cannot be administered within 28 days of another live vaccine. Depending on what is needed, if traveling to an area with endemic malaria or yellow fever, the appointment must be scheduled at a minimum of 10 days before arriving in the malaria or yellow fever area.
Yellow fever vaccine is now available at Howard's Drug. Please speak to a pharmacist and request that we order it and allow 3 weekdays for us to order and receive the vaccine. The Yellow Fever vaccine is only available as a part of a paid travel consultation visit.
Cost for one dose of YV-VAX = $200
This cost includes us providing you with a stamped, "International Certificate of Immunization" after vaccination.
Yellow fever is prevalent in sub-Saharan Africa and tropical South America. If you are planning to travel to these areas, it is recommended that you get vaccinated against yellow fever before your trip. You should also take personal protective measures against insect bites while traveling; we will advise you during your appointment on mosquito-bite avoidance measures.
